A few short years ago, thousands of bankers were in the midst of systems changes to ready their institutions for Y2K. Often these patches and replacements were implemented for speed and ease of installation, with no time for detailed user specifications, RFP development, or scoring and selection processes.
Today, many of these institutions are ready to search for replacement technology for core systems and have the benefit of reviewing the numerous and interesting changes over the past few years to core applications and the supporting delivery systems.
