This plan needs to include the company’s long-term goals, an understanding of the marketplace, effective cost / benefit determination, and a way to differentiate itself from its competitors.
S&A’s approach focuses on three key elements that comprise a successful operational environment: process, technology and people. First, a detailed review of existing workflows is performed to identify areas for streamlining, points contributing to bottlenecks, delays and performance issues. Next, S&A assesses the adequacy of technology and tools supporting the current and future environment. In a final phase, reviews of staffing is completed and when combined with business line requirements, an optimum operations / IT environment and detailed implementation plan is created.
